Main Highlights You’ll Experience
Why Choose a Weekend Tour Package?
Travel & Connectivity
From Mumbai, the journey (by road) covers about 700+ km, typically via NH48 → Belgaum → Hubli → Hospet. Buses often take 12–13 hours. Overnight train + onward local transfer is a preferred option. From Pune, the route is shorter and many tour groups use Pune as a departure hub. The nearest railway station is Hospet Junction, about 13 km from Hampi.
Best Time to Visit
The ideal season is October to February, when the weather is cooler, skies are clearer, and exploration is comfortable. Summers (March–May) get scorching, and monsoon (June–September) may limit accessibility and surprise you with rain.
Accommodations & Food
You’ll find a range of stays — guesthouses, boutique homestays, budget lodges — around Hampi Bazaar, Kamalapur, or in Anegundi. Many tour packages include lodging on a shared or twin-sharing basis. Meals are often South Indian menus or regional vegetarian cuisine. Homestyle cafés on the riverside or on Hippie Island also add variety.
